Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library (WEPL) is on the November 4 ballot as Issue 21. This is a 2 mill renewal levy.  Homeowners pay $41.00 per year, which is $3.42 per month, per $100 thousand assessed property value.

This is not a tax increase.

The levy comprises 42% of WEPL’s operating budget and is essential for the library’s day-to-day operations.

The Library is funded by the levy and state funds. The library does not receive any funds from the schools or city.

Issue 21 Will:

• Protect and enhance all 4 WEPL Libraries
• Increase programming for children, families, and seniors
• Increase technology and enrichment
• Increase online children’s and career development resources
• Increase the variety of educational items to borrow
